My Story
My passion for fitness began during my junior year of high school, when I started paying closer attention to my health. I was influenced by a family member who cared deeply about fitness but passed away before he could fully reach his goals. His dedication inspired me to keep learning about how the body works, how muscle mass supports overall health, and how consistency in training can extend quality of life. I’ve also seen the benefits through another uncle who takes great care of himself and remains fit and strong.
Science supports what I’ve observed—muscle strength, flexibility, and proper recovery are vital to long-term health. Through my own research, I’ve learned about methods like “schizo-reps,” which prepare muscles through controlled movement rather than traditional warm-ups. It’s a more efficient and effective way to train, allowing people to focus on performance while saving time. Understanding the science behind exercise and recovery motivates me to share these insights with others.
My goal is to become a personal trainer and a physical therapist. As a personal trainer, I want to lead outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, or tennis and help clients see fitness as something enjoyable rather than a chore. I hope to engage people who may not naturally love exercise and help them pivot toward a lifestyle of health, strength, and flexibility. For me, fitness is not just about building muscles—it’s about building a better, healthier life.
My Commitment to Excellence and Purpose
From a young age, I committed myself to excellence, discipline, and service through a range of academic, athletic, and leadership pursuits. My experiences reflect a balance of intellectual curiosity, physical endurance, and dedication to community values that have shaped both my character and work ethic. The following list is a reflection of my hard work.

My Athletic Achievements
My lifelong dedication to athletics has deepened my understanding of the body’s strength, resilience, and need for proper recovery. This passion now drives my pursuit of personal training and physical therapy where I aim to help others achieve peak performance while preventing injury through mindful movement and balance.

Science Fuels My Curiosity
I’m interested in how science connects to fitness—especially what drives muscle growth and how to achieve it efficiently. Studies show that both heavy, low-rep and lighter, high-rep training can build similar muscle size when done close to failure, though heavier loads lead to greater strength gains.
One study found that both heavy and light training produced similar hypertrophy, though the heavier group gained more strength—showing that effort matters more than load for muscle growth. Research shows that both low-load and high-load training can produce comparable hypertrophy when effort is high, though heavier loads yield greater strength gains.
These are important discoveries for fitness training.
Acquired Core Competencies
I've developed competencies through experience and reflection—strong writing, analytical thinking, and genuine empathy—each shaping how I communicate, solve problems, and connect meaningfully with others. These strengths come from real moments of learning—both successes and mistakes—that have taught me the value of understanding myself and others.

Writing
I’ve always been recognized for my strong writing skills. From middle school through high school, I was in Honors English, where my teachers consistently praised my ability to write with depth and creativity. I craft essays that are both insightful and well-organized, especially when I’m passionate about the topic.
Critical Thinking
I enjoy analyzing situations to find the best approach. My love for science has strengthened that mindset. I’m drawn to data, logic, and how things connect. I was fascinated by Greek mythology and philosophy—questioning characters’ motives and reasoning. I also enjoy debating—evaluating and breaking down opposing points with passion.
Empathy & Active Listening
My empathy and active listening skills stem from my faith. Throughout high school, I’ve worked on becoming a better listener and striving to act with integrity. I try to understand people, not just from their words but from their intentions, so I can offer grounded advice. I genuinely enjoy helping my peers make good decisions.

Wellness Around the World
I’ve been fortunate to live and travel across three continents—experiencing life in Canada, Dominican Republic, Dubai, France and my home in the United States. Travel has deepened my understanding of how cultures approach food, health, and fitness.
Each place has also challenged me to grow in ways I never expected—teaching me humility, resilience, and a deeper appreciation for the many ways people find balance, good health and joy.
